Parra Outdueled in Return

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Joel Pineiro threw his third complete game of the season as the St. Louis Cardinals took a 5-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers to wrap up a three-game set at Miller Park.

Prince Fielder went 2-for-3 with a run scored and Mike Cameron drove in the lone run for the Brewers, who have dropped three of their last four games.

Manny Parra had a solid start as he gave up just three hits and a walk with seven strikeouts in seven innings of work. Carlos Villanueva (2-5) was tabbed with the loss as he gave up two runs and two hits without recording an out.
